Most parades are in the full military dress uniform (a variation of the Scots Guard Military dress).
In the case of extreme heat, the band wears a modified full dress uniform, which replaces the tunic and plaid with a dress white shirt, epaulets and tie, and replaces the feather bonnet with a glengarry.
Concerts are usually given in day wear dress.
Members are provided with all uniform parts with the exception of parade-appropriate black shoes. Band t-shirts are available for wear under the tunic, although not mandatory. Some outdated or worn uniform parts (as well as equipment) are offered for sale when applicable.
